Who We Are.

Rafon is an independent wellness resource focused on everyday nutrition and active lifestyle practices for men. The content is not affiliated with any governmental or institutional body. The journal operates from its registered editorial address at Jl. Permata Hijau No. 89, 12210 Jakarta, Indonesia.

For all privacy-related correspondence, readers may write to [email protected] or contact the Jakarta office in writing at the address above. The editorial team will respond to privacy enquiries within ten working days of receipt.

02

Information We Collect.

Rafon collects personal information only when it is submitted voluntarily by a reader. The primary collection point is the contact form on the contact page of this website. Information collected through this form includes: the reader's name, email address, optionally selected subject category, and the body of the message submitted.

In addition to form-submitted data, Rafon's hosting and analytics infrastructure collects standard server log information. This includes IP addresses, browser type and version, referring URL, pages visited, and time on site. This data is collected automatically when a visitor loads any page on rafon.info and is not linked to the personal details submitted via the contact form unless an explicit security investigation requires it.

Rafon does not collect financial information, identity documents, occupation data, or any sensitive personal category information as defined under applicable data protection frameworks. The journal does not use any form field that solicits this category of data.

03

How We Use Your Information.

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to the enquiry submitted. Rafon does not use contact form data for unsolicited marketing communication, does not add submitters to mailing lists without explicit consent, and does not share submitted data with commercial third parties.

Server log data is used to monitor the technical performance of the website, identify and resolve access errors, and understand aggregate reader behaviour at the category level. Log data is reviewed in anonymised aggregate form and is not used to build individual reader profiles.

Where analytics services (such as Google Analytics) are active on the platform, data collected by those services is processed in accordance with the respective provider's privacy documentation. Rafon uses analytics data solely to assess content reach and guide editorial planning — never for the purpose of selling audience data to third parties.

04

Data Retention & Storage.

Contact form submissions are retained in the editorial correspondence archive for a period of twenty-four months from the date of submission, after which they are permanently deleted. If a reader requests deletion of their correspondence record before that period expires, Rafon will action the deletion within ten working days of receiving a written request at [email protected].

Server log data is retained for a maximum of twelve months in accordance with standard hosting security protocols. Analytics data processed via third-party services is subject to the retention periods defined by those services. Readers may opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting cookie preferences via the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page.

Rafon stores all data on servers operated by reputable commercial hosting providers with industry-standard physical and network security. No personal data is stored on portable media or transmitted in unencrypted form outside the secure hosting environment.

05

Your Rights as a Reader.

Readers who have submitted personal information to Rafon are entitled to request access to that information, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of their data from the editorial archive, and object to specific processing activities where applicable under relevant data protection law.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Request" and a description of the action requested. The editorial team will acknowledge receipt within two working days and will respond substantively within ten working days. Where a request is complex or involves multiple data types, the team will notify the reader of an extended timeline before the initial ten-day window expires.

Rafon will not charge a fee for actioning straightforward data requests. Requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive in scope may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee, of which the reader will be notified in advance.

06

Third-Party Services.

The rafon.info website loads resources from third-party content delivery networks including Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Cloudflare CDN, and unpkg. These services may set their own browser cookies or collect standard server request data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Rafon does not control these services and recommends that readers review their respective documentation.

Where Google Analytics or similar analytics services are active, they are loaded only after a reader has provided cookie consent via the banner present at the bottom of every page. Functional-only consent does not enable analytics tracking. Readers who wish to remove existing analytics cookies may clear browser cookies or use the cookie preference controls available in the footer.

Rafon does not embed social media widgets that track reader behaviour across external platforms. Any links to external platforms are clearly identified as external and open in a new browser tab.
